The smooth and closed surface of the glass beads creates a lotus effect and prevents the penetration and caking of bacteria and algae, preventing channel formation.
Vitrosphere Nano contains no free crystalline silicic acid, no water-soluble components and no metallic iron.
Because the filter beads are generated via a certified melting process, no fine dust is created that is harmful to health.
This property plays an important role in particular when replacing the filter material.
