Product description

Muticyclone 16 30m³/h

The operation of the Waterco MultiCyclone plus MC16 pre-filter is based on the centrifuge system in which dirt particles are thrown out and collected.
The Plus version is equipped with a filter cartridge 3.7 m2 and manometer and can also be used as an independent filter for smaller to medium-sized swimming pools.
The dirt is rinsed away with approximately 15 liters of water (without stopping the pump).
Less dirt in the sand/AFM filter means less/shorter backwashing.

The MC16 Plus pre-filter is made of plastic with a drain/valve and is also suitable for swimming pools with salt electrolysis.
The Waterco MultiCyclone MC16 Plus pre-filter requires a minimum flow of 3m³/h and can handle a maximum flow of 30m³/h.
Connection size 63mm adhesive connection.

Operation:

  • Incoming water arrives at 16 tangential hydro cyclones that generate strong centrifugal action.
  • The sediment is thrown against the wall of the hydro cyclone, and then falls spirally down to the dirt chamber.
  • The filtered water moves to the center of the hydro cyclone where the flow reverses and the water goes up via a spiral to the exit.
  • The accumulation of dirt can easily be checked via the MultiCyclone transparent compartment.
  • The MultiCyclone is easy to clean by opening the drain tap.
  • Only 15 liters of water is drained.
  • There is no filter media to clean or replace
  • Connection: 2" - 63mm
  • Min-Max flow rate: 3m³/h - 30m³/h
  • Max pressure: 3.5 Bar
  • Swimming pool capacity: max 80 m³
  • Dimensions: L 600mm x W 337mm
