Filter Cleaner Pro 5L for sand & cartridge filters

The sand filter cleaner has a unique composition of stabilized cleaning agents that degrease and remove accumulated limescale deposits.

The ingredients penetrate deeply to restore filter efficiency. The cleaning agent is compatible with disinfectants based on chlorine, bromine, ozone, and biguanide. To ensure normal operation of the swimming pool, regular cleaning and conditioning of the filters is necessary. The filters require cleaning 2 to 3 times per season, depending on the use of the pool, or when the pressure across the filters exceeds normal pressure.

Instructions for use:

Stop the supply of all chemicals.

Close the drain and set the filter to the backwash position.

Slowly pour 2 to 3 liters (for filters up to 150 kg) into the filter while backwashing.

Continue backwashing until the product starts coming along with the backwash water.

Soak the filter for 16 to 24 hours. Start the backwashing again until the water becomes clear and foam-free.

Reverse the operation to normal filter operation.
