1 kg chlorine tablets 200gr. (99% trichloroisocyanuric acid) - Chlorine 90/200 slow dissolving.
You should always have enough disinfectant (chlorine) in the water.
Chlorine decomposes more quickly at a pH lower than 7.2, so it is important to keep the pH around 7.4 and to add enough chlorine. Â Check the pH of the pool with the test kit at least weekly. In variable rainy weather it is best to check twice a week.
If the pH is not between 7.2 and 7.6, adjust the pH with pH-minus or pH-plus. After adding pH-minus or pH-plus you have to filter for 4 hours before checking the pH again.
Check the chlorine level with a meter (eg aquacheck). If the chlorine level is too low, add Chlorine Shock to accelerate the chlorine level. After adding Chlorine Shock you should not swim immediately, and you should wait 4 hours before checking the chlorine level.
If the pH and the chlorine content are good, you should be able to keep it well. Therefore put a slow 200g Chlorine tablet in the skimmer every 3 days, even if the existing table has not yet completely dissolved. Filter at least 4 times for 2 hours per day, preferably spread over 24 hours.
At temperatures lower than 20 degrees you may add less chlorine and filter less, at temperatures higher than 28 degrees you must filter more and add more chlorine.
